Date (Example 1) performs a short operation using values from the “Year”, “Month” and “Day” properties.

Date (Example 2) is all of the formulas combined into one longer formula, and does not utilize any additional properties.

Clean Display Format is simply the final date converted into a consistent format. This is not a “true” date that can be used in calendars or filters, it is for display purposes only. You can change the display formatting to meet your needs.

This example uses text from the “Name” property of a database table, but these functions can operate on any text-based property that contain dates.
